ClinicDiary offers a flexible, month-to-month subscription with no long-term commitments. This policy explains how cancellation works and what to expect.
Cancel Anytime
You may cancel your ClinicDiary subscription at any time, for any reason. There are:
- No cancellation fees
- No penalties
- No long-term contracts
- No questions asked
How Cancellation Works
When you cancel your subscription:
- Immediate Effect: Your cancellation request is processed immediately upon confirmation.
- Continued Access: You retain full access to ClinicDiary for the remainder of your current billing period.
- No Refund: In accordance with our Refund Policy, no refund will be issued for the current billing period.
- Account Deactivation: At the end of your paid period, your account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to access the system.
- No Further Charges: Once cancelled, no further payments will be taken from your account.
Example Timeline
Scenario: You subscribe on the 1st of the month and pay R149.
Cancellation: On the 15th, you decide to cancel.
Access: You continue to have full access until the end of the month (the 30th/31st).
Result: No refund is issued, but you enjoy the remaining two weeks of service. Your account is deactivated on the 1st of the following month.

Your Data After Cancellation
After your account is deactivated:
- Your data will be retained for a limited period in accordance with legal and operational requirements.
- You may request an export of your data before cancellation takes effect.
- After the retention period, your data will be securely deleted.

Reactivating Your Account
If you wish to return to ClinicDiary after cancellation:
- Contact us to discuss reactivation options.
- Depending on timing, your previous data may still be available.
- A new subscription payment will be required to restore access.
